Ashley Eckler Wilms is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She has extensive experience supporting transgender and gender-diverse youth, creating a safe, inclusive space where clients can explore identity, build confidence, and feel fully supported.

Ashley specializes in trauma-informed care and works with youth facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges, as well as individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). She also has a strong interest in supporting women’s issues, including infertility, as well as working with athletes navigating performance, identity, and sport-related stressors.

Ashley uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy to help clients strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change. She is currently pursuing additional training in EMDR therapy to further support clients in processing and healing from trauma.
